Dr. Gregory P. Pogue

Dr. Gregory Pogue is Deputy Executive Director and Senior
Research Scientist at the IC 2 Institute where he leads research
and education programs in the US and internationally.
Current research questions focus on strategies to re-think
engagement and entrepreneurship in rural and remote
communities to create vibrant ecosystems with increased
economic and social success. Dr. Pogue holds a Lecturer
position in the College of Liberal Arts where he teaches
courses on Entrepreneurial Writing and is a Globex Fellow at
Peking University in China. He has extensive technology
commercialization experience through senior positions in
venture capital, six entrepreneurial ventures, technology
transfer offices and as a scientific innovator himself. As a
scientist, Dr. Pogue has authored >60 original scientific
articles and reviews and been an inventor on >35 issued and
pending U.S. patents. He has led development and testing of
16 clinical stage drug products. Dr. Pogue has contributed to
the raising or management of >$100M in venture capital and
>$35M in competitive grant support.
